QuestionI would like to know how to apply for medical certificates for Infants and Young Children and compulsory education school-age children when moving to Inagi City or when a child is born.

Response

Procedures for medical certificates for infants and young children and compulsory education school-age children are required at the Child Care Support Division.

The start date for eligibility is generally the first day of the month in which the application was made, so please complete your procedures as soon as possible.
If the date of birth or the date of moving in is close to the end of the month, even if the application date is in the following month, the eligibility for benefits will be retroactive to the day after the date of occurrence (for moving in, this is the planned moving out date submitted to the previous municipality; for birth, this is the date of birth) as long as it is within one month.
If the application is delayed, the medical expenses for the delayed month will not be eligible for assistance, so please be careful.
For necessary documents and details, please check the Medical Expenses Assistance System for Infants and Young Children for preschool children, and the Medical Expenses Assistance System for Compulsory Education for elementary and junior high school children.
