Emergency Subsidy for the Purchase of Security Equipment in Inagi City

In Inagi City, the city provides subsidies for part of the purchase and installation costs of security equipment for those who want to enhance security measures at their homes.
The application can be submitted only once per household. (It is possible to apply for multiple security devices together.)

Note: There are no plans to implement this in FY2027.

Eligible Persons

All of the following must be met.

• Residents living in Inagi City (must have continuously resided from the receipt date of the security equipment purchase to the application date)
• Those who implement security measures for the residence they live in
• Those who purchased and installed eligible security equipment (with receipt dates from April 1, 2024 to December 28, 2024)
• Those applying for this subsidy for the first time

Examples of ineligible cases

• Owners of rental housing or residences where they do not live
• If you are using the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's subsidy program for the same equipment
• Those who have received the Emergency Subsidy for the Purchase of Security Equipment in Inagi City as a household in FY2025

Subsidy Amount

Half of the purchase price of security equipment, etc. (up to 10,000 yen)

Note: Amounts less than 1,000 yen will be rounded down

• Human Sensor
• Security Film
• Installation or replacement of high-security locks
• Glass Break Sensor
• Security gravel (gravel processed to make a loud noise when stepped on)
• Security stickers such as "Security Camera in Operation"
• Sensor Alarm

Documents that can confirm the purchaser's name, product name (model number), details of installation work, construction or purchase date, and amount

Cannot be combined with other Tokyo Metropolitan subsidy programs

If you receive subsidies for the same risk under the following programs, this subsidy cannot be used.

Insulated Security Window Subsidy Program

Insulated security windows are eligible for subsidies under the "Energy-saving Renovation Promotion Project for Existing Homes."

Parenting Generation "Protecting Children" Housing Securing Promotion Project

This is a subsidy system for renovation work carried out to ensure the safety of children.

Installation of security cameras and intercoms with cameras and renovation work related to crime prevention measures within the premises are also eligible for subsidies. For details, please check the website below.

For those living in rental housing or condominiums

Applications are accepted regardless of rental, condominium, or owned housing.

However, please note the following two points.

• If construction is involved, please obtain consent from the landlord or management association, etc.
• When installing cameras, please consider the privacy of neighboring residents.
