QuestionCan a copy of the Certificate of Residence be obtained from a municipality other than the one where the resident is registered?

Response

A copy of the Certificate of Residence can be issued even in municipalities other than the one where you are registered (display of family register information is not possible). Applications can only be made when receiving a copy for the "applicant themselves" or a "person in the same household as the applicant." The applicant must present an official photo ID (such as a My Number Card, driver's license, or passport), and the name, address, and date of birth on the ID must be up-to-date and match the resident registration. Please note that entering the PIN is mandatory for the My Number Card. For more details, please refer to the "Wide Area Issuance of Certificate of Residence Copy" page.
