QuestionI have lost the Basic Resident Registration Card, what should I do?

Please complete the procedures for temporary suspension or cancellation at the Citizen Affairs Division of City Hall. You can also complete the procedures by phone.
In case of loss or theft, please be sure to make a Notification to the police.

Please note that the issuance of the Basic Resident Registration Card has ended as of December 28, 2015, due to the start of the Individual Number System.
The My Number Card (Individual Number Card) will serve as a substitute for the Basic Resident Registration Card.
