Please do not install bump removal plates or similar on the road.

In order to eliminate the step difference between the driveway and the road, "driveway blocks," "steel plates," "car steps," and other items are sometimes installed on the road.
Installing such objects on the road obstructs the flow of rainwater and causes road flooding. Additionally, it is very dangerous as it may lead to accidents such as falls involving young children, elderly people, pedestrians with disabilities, motorcycles, and bicycles. Therefore, please do not install them.

These actions are prohibited as they violate Article 43 of the Road Act, and in the event of an accident, the installer may be held liable for damages.

(Note)
Article 43 of the Road Act: No person shall perform any of the acts listed below in relation to roads.
1. Unauthorized damage to or contamination of roads.
2. Illegally dumping soil, stones, bamboo, wood, or other objects on the road, or engaging in other acts that may obstruct the structure of the road or traffic.

If you wish to eliminate the step, you can carry out L-shaped ditch or sidewalk lowering work at your own expense through the "Road Self-Financed Construction Application" procedure based on Article 24 of the Road Act. For details regarding the scope and structure of the lowering section, please contact the Department of Urban Development at Inagi City Hall (contact information is provided below).

We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that everyone can use the roads safely and comfortably.
