Special Vehicle Passage Permit Application

Vehicles with a special structure, or cargo that is special and exceeds either the "vehicle restrictions based on the Road Act (general restriction values)," are referred to as "special vehicles."
When a "special vehicle" intends to pass through a road, it must obtain permission from the road administrator to do so.

About the Procedure

(1) When the application route spans multiple road administrators

If the application route from the departure point to the destination spans multiple road administrators, you must apply at the office of any of the road administrators you will be using.
If the application route includes national roads or metropolitan roads, bulk applications cannot be accepted in Inagi City.

(2) If the road manager within the application route is only Inagi City

If you are traveling only on Inagi City roads from the departure point to the destination, please contact the Inagi City Management Division.

Vehicle Passage Certification Application

Even vehicles that do not exceed the "vehicle restrictions based on the Road Act (general restriction values)" are subject to limitations based on the relationship between the road width and the vehicle width.
Even in cases where the above restrictions apply, if it is unavoidable to pass through, it is necessary to obtain passage certification from the administrator of the road you wish to use.

About the Procedure

For Inagi City roads, please apply at the Department of Urban Development Management Division.
The following documents are required for the application.

  1. Vehicle Passage Certification Application Form 1 set

2. Route map (1/5,000 or more, showing the city roads and destination) 2 copies

3. Vehicle Breakdown Statement (when applying for 2 or more vehicles simultaneously) 2 copies

4. Copy of the vehicle inspection certificate 1 copy
