Water Closet Renovation Promotion Fund Subsidy System
Within three years of the sewerage being developed and put into use, the city provides subsidies or special subsidies for the construction to convert pit toilets and septic tanks in residential houses to flush toilets.
- Note 1: This does not apply if the building is newly constructed or if the property owner is a corporation.
- Note 2: There are areas that are not eligible for subsidies. Please inquire for more details.
To receive a subsidy or special subsidy, it is necessary to apply to a designated sewerage construction company before starting the renovation work.
Subsidy
When converting a pit toilet to a flush toilet
- In the case of general housing
20,000 yen for one toilet. An additional 10,000 yen for each additional unit. - In the case of rental houses and apartment buildings
10,000 yen for one toilet. An additional 10,000 yen for each additional unit.
When removing the sewage treatment tank and switching to direct discharge
- In the case of general housing
20,000 yen for one sewage treatment tank. An additional 10,000 yen for each additional tank. - In the case of rental houses and apartment buildings
10,000 yen for one sewage treatment tank. An additional 10,000 yen for each additional tank.
Special Subsidy
For those receiving living assistance under the Public Assistance Law, the mayor will subsidize the full cost of renovation work approved by him.
