If you wish to install a sewer pipe to a private road

In order to reduce the burden on those who live using private roads and to promote water flushing, the city is installing sewer pipes on private roads upon application by the owners or rights holders of the private roads.
Note: For applications, please consult the Sewerage Division.

Eligibility

Private roads that meet one of the following criteria

1. Those that connect to public roads and have a width of 1.8 meters or more
2. One end connects to a public road, has a width of 1.8 meters or more, and faces the residential land of two or more beneficiaries.

Note: In conjunction with the construction of public sewer pipes, a public sewage manhole, which serves as the connection point between the drainage facilities and the public sewer, will be installed upon application by the landowner or rights holder.
