About Osteoporosis Prevention Screening

Women citizens who will turn 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, or 70 years old between April 2, 2024 and April 1, 2025 can receive the osteoporosis prevention screening free of charge. Know your bone mass and start working on osteoporosis prevention now.

Osteoporosis Prevention Screening will be held on Saturday, June 20

Bone strength (density) is determined by bone density (bone mass) and bone quality. When bone strength (density) decreases, it becomes easier to fracture, and this condition is called osteoporosis. Factors that can lead to a decrease in bone strength (density) include "decrease in female hormones (estrogen)," "aging," and "disruption of lifestyle (excessive dieting, poor diet, lack of exercise)."

As a result, the older you get, the more likely you are to develop it, and particularly women are about three times more likely to develop it compared to men. Why not learn about your bone density and prevention tips to prevent osteoporosis, and start a lifestyle that is good for your bones?
