1 What kind of place is the SHIROYAMA EXPERIENCE STUDY INSTITUE?

While utilizing the functions of the attached Central Library and the nature-rich parks,
This facility can be used as a place for information gathering, creation and exchange, and experiences.

2 How to Use?

Use of Audiovisual Room, Lecture Room, Workshop, Learning Room (1), Learning Room (3)

Prior registration as a user of Inagi City Public Facilities is required before use.
You can register as an organization or an individual.

Notes on Registration and Usage

  • Not intended for profit-making activities, political activities, or religious activities.
  • Cannot be used for profit-making classroom activities.
  • Sales of goods are not available.
  • Instruments, karaoke, and chorus cannot be used.
  • Due to the specifications of the meeting room, loud noises and vibrations, as well as physical activities, are not allowed.
  • Please use the room according to its intended purpose.

Use of the Individual Study Room [Study Room (2)]

Please present your library card at the reception and receive a reception card before using the facilities. After use, please return the reception card.
Seating is unassigned. The use of devices that produce sound (calculators, keyboard PCs) is not allowed.
Please refrain from occupying seats for long periods so that many people can use them.
Residents of the 7 cities along the Keio Line (Inagi City, Hachioji City, Fuchu City, Chofu City, Machida City, Hino City, Tama City) and Kawasaki City can use this service (registration with the Inagi City Library is required to use it).

About Facility Usage Fees

In principle, there is a fee. However, for city project cooperation organizations (projects), it may be free of charge.

3 Registration Procedure

(A) Required Documents

Please submit the Inagi City Public Facilities User Registration Application Form and the supplementary slip to the reception.
Based on the submitted documents, we will review the registration requirements and other criteria. The review generally takes about one week. If approved, the "Inagi City Public Facilities User Registration Certificate" will be issued within 14 days from submission.

(i) Valid Period

The registration is valid for up to 2 years. The registration expiration date is set at the end of the fiscal year when the last digit of the Gregorian year is an odd number.
If you register again, you will need to complete the procedure.

(u) What if I am already registered at the Community Center or similar facilities?

When using the SHIROYAMA EXPERIENCE STUDY INSTITUE, it is necessary to newly submit the "Inagi City Public Facilities User Registration Application Form."

4 How to Apply

Application for Each Room

Please apply through the Inagi City Public Facilities Reservation System.
Users who have registered can make reservations from a computer, mobile phone, smartphone, or a dedicated terminal during the reservation acceptance period.
Applications can be made on a first-come, first-served basis from 3 months to 4 days before the date of use.
Inagi City and the Experience Center's independent or supported projects, Lifelong Learning projects, and Social Education organization projects may be given priority for reservations.

Regarding Payment of Facility Usage Fees (For Use from January 15, 2026, Reserved with the New System)

Please pay the usage fee within 8 days including the application date. If there are less than 8 days from the application date to the usage date, please pay by the day before the usage date.

If payment is not made by the deadline, the reservation will be canceled.

Regarding payment methods, you can pay in cash at the counter or use cashless payment options (credit card, convenience store payment, Pay-easy, PayPay).

Note: As of October 15, due to delays in the introduction of cashless payment systems, payment methods will be cash only until the implementation is complete.

5 How to Use Each Room

(a) When using the room

  • Please receive your check card at the reception.
  • Please adhere to the reserved usage time.
  • Eating and drinking are not allowed.
  • If you use chairs, desks, etc. from other rooms, please be sure to inform the reception.

(i) When you have finished using the room

  • Please check the items listed on the check card.
  • Please submit the completed check card at the reception.
  • Please be sure to return the room's desks and chairs to their original state according to the seating chart.

6 About the Use of the Exhibition Corner

Please use this as a platform for citizens to make presentations.
Usage is generally limited to one time per organization.
Cannot be used for commercial, religious, or political activities.
Applications for the fiscal year 2026 will start being accepted from December onwards.
(Registration for the Public Facilities Reservation System is required to use this service)
Lending will continue if there are vacancies after the application period ends. (Please inquire about availability)

7 Usage of Lockers

  • The loan period is one year. Please submit the Application Form. (If there are many applicants, a lottery will be held.)
  • Items that can be stored in the locker are limited to materials such as teaching aids that are used regularly for that activity.
  • Items that are rarely used throughout the year cannot be stored.
  • The locker keys are managed at the reception.
  • We cannot be held responsible for any theft or damage to items in the locker, so please understand.
  • You cannot store group property or personal belongings in places other than lockers.
  • Multiple lockers cannot be used by a single organization.

8 Wi-Fi Router Lending Information (Starting June 1, 2023)

In our city, we have established rental Wi-Fi routers that can be used in conference rooms and other areas within Public Facilities to improve convenience for users.

Available Users for Lending

Note: The number of devices available for lending is one. If another user has reserved the Wi-Fi router for the same time slot, it cannot be used.

How to Use

(a) When reserving a Wi-Fi router

When applying for facilities in the Inagi City Public Facilities Reservation System, please select "Wi-Fi Router" from the equipment reservation screen.

(i) When using a Wi-Fi router

Please sign the notice at the reception when using the room and use the Wi-Fi router.

(u) When you have finished using the room

Please check the usage check card and return the Wi-Fi router, etc.

Points to Note for Use

Please be sure to check the "About the Rental Wi-Fi Router" and the "Precautions for Using the Wi-Fi Router at the SHIROYAMA EXPERIENCE STUDY INSTITUE of Inagi City Central Library" in advance before using.

9 Other

If you engage in behavior that causes inconvenience to others or do not follow the instructions of the staff, you may be prohibited from using the facility.
If you damage or lose facilities or equipment, please report it to the staff immediately.
In some cases, you may be required to compensate for damages.

10 Notices
