When using a courier service

The city has concluded an agreement with "Rinett Japan Recycle Co., Ltd.", a nationally certified Business Operator, enabling the disposal of over 400 types of small electronic devices, mainly computers, via courier service.
Computers contain valuable metals such as rare metals, so please cooperate with recycling.

When requesting processing from the manufacturer

From October 1, 2003, based on the "Law for the Promotion of Effective Utilization of Resources," manufacturers have started collecting personal computers and computer displays.
The city does not collect personal computers or computer displays.

Disposal Method

Applications are made to each manufacturer, and items are collected via the nearest post office.
For self-built computers, discontinued manufacturers, and imported items, please apply to the Japan PC 3R Promotion Center.

Collection, Transportation, and Recycling Fees

Items with the "PC Recycling Mark" purchased on or after October 1, 2003, require the collection, transportation, and recycling fees to be paid at the time of purchase, so only an application is needed at the time of disposal.
