Overview

The city is promoting the establishment of "Child 110" houses as places where children can seek help in case of emergencies during their commute to and from school.

We are looking for individuals who can become a "Children's 110 House" where children can rush in and take shelter in case of an emergency.
We would like to hang a sign that serves as a landmark at the "Child 110 Call" houses, so that children can feel safe asking for help. By hanging such a sign at the entrance, it is also considered a measure for crime prevention.
We ask for your understanding of these purposes and request the establishment of the "Child 110 House" as described below.

Installed households, etc.

Households where someone is likely to be at home on a regular basis.
Homes (stores, etc.) that can temporarily protect children and students when they seek help and can call the police at 110.

Installation Period

As long as there are no issues at home, for many years

Installation Location

  • Gates facing roads or pathways, or entrances visible from the road.
  • Near the entrance of shops, etc.
  • Near the entrances of each household in apartment complexes and condominiums (regardless of the floor)

Responsibility Issues

If a temporarily protected child or student is injured, we will not hold the families of the "Child 110" houses responsible in any way.
This is a request for protection as a temporary shelter only.

Application Destination

After filling out the consent form (PDF file below), please submit it to the General Affairs and Contracts Division.
