Overview of i (Ai) Bus

The i (Ai) Bus (Inagi City Community Bus) has been in full operation since 2002 and serves as a community bus complementing the route buses, with the main purposes of promoting social participation for transportation-vulnerable individuals and resolving transportation inconvenience in underserved areas.

Origin of the Nickname

The nickname "i (Ai) Bus" was selected from 250 entries submitted by 190 people through a public contest. In addition to the letter "i," which is the initial of Inagi, it also carries meanings such as "Love Bus" and "Meeting Bus," and was chosen as a nickname that citizens can feel familiar with.
