How to Ride the i Bus

Boarding

Please board from the front door and pay the fare at the fare machine next to the driver's seat.

Note: Holders of Physical Disability Certificate 100 yen (Cash Only)

Note: Up to two infants (under elementary school age) accompanied by an elementary school student or older are free

Course A does not accept transportation IC cards such as PASMO or Suica. Payment can only be made with 10 yen, 50 yen, and 100 yen coins. Since it is a change machine system, no change will be given. The denominations that can be exchanged on board are 50 yen, 100 yen, 500 yen coins, and 1000 yen bills.

The fare box gives change. 500 yen coins and 1000 yen bills do not require exchange, but please use IC cards or coins as much as possible. Bills of 2000 yen or higher are not accepted.

Discounted Fares for Persons with Disabilities

For eligible individuals, presenting this will reduce the one-way fare by half (rounded up), and the regular ticket fare will be approximately 30% off.
Note: There are no commuter passes available for Course A operated by Minami Kanko Kotsu Co., Ltd.

Types of Disability Certificates

Physical Disability Certificate

  • If the passenger fare reduction is of type 1, the "person themselves" and the "caregiver" will be eligible for the discounted fare.
    Note: If a caregiver is accompanying you, please present the private bus fare discount certificate as well.
  • If there are two types of passenger fare reductions, only the "person" will be eligible for the discounted fare.

Disability Support Handbook (Handbook of Love)

  • If the passenger fare reduction is of type 1, the "person themselves" and the "caregiver" will be eligible for the discounted fare.
    Note: If a caregiver is accompanying you, please present the private bus fare discount certificate as well.
  • If there are two types of passenger fare reductions, only the "person" will be eligible for the discounted fare.
    Note: If the "person" is under 12 years old, the "caregiver" will also be eligible for the discounted fare.
    If you are riding together, please present the private bus fare discount certificate as well.

Mental Disability Health and Welfare Handbook Issued by Municipalities Nationwide

  • If the passenger fare reduction is of type 1, the "person themselves" and the "caregiver" will be eligible for the discounted fare.
    Note: If a caregiver is accompanying you, please present the private bus fare discount certificate as well.
  • If there are two types of passenger fare reductions, only the "person" will be eligible for the discounted fare.
  • Please present your photo ID to board.
  • There is no discount fare applicable for regular ticket fares.
