Inagi City Suicide Prevention Plan
Suicide is considered a death resulting from a complex interplay of various factors, and because it involves not only individual issues but also social factors, it is important for society as a whole to work on suicide prevention measures.
The city is formulating a plan for suicide prevention in Inagi City, based on the Basic Law on Suicide Prevention, the Comprehensive Suicide Prevention Outline, and the suicide prevention plans of prefectures, taking into account the local circumstances.
With the end of the first plan's period in Fiscal Year 2023, and taking into account the city's efforts, achievements, challenges, and the national "Comprehensive Suicide Prevention Strategy", the second Inagi City Suicide Prevention Plan has been formulated as the next plan.
In the future, based on this plan, with the fundamental principle of aiming for a "Inagi City where no one is driven to suicide," we will comprehensively promote suicide prevention through collaboration and cooperation with the administration and related organizations, providing comprehensive support for living.
