In our country, the aging population is rapidly increasing, and it is expected that by 2025, the proportion of Late-Stage Elderly individuals aged 75 and older will reach 30% of the total population. In light of this situation, the city has conducted an assessment of the current state of medical service provision, a survey of citizen needs, future projections of medical demand, the current status of the local medical association, and estimates of the number of hospital beds in Inagi City for 2025, in order to consider the ideal state of Inagi City. The 'Inagi City Medical Plan' was formulated in fiscal year 2015.
Five years have passed since the formulation of the plan, and there have been changes in the medical provision system, medical needs, and related measures such as the regional medical plan in Inagi City. Therefore, a review was conducted from fiscal year 2020 to 2021, which marks the midpoint of the 'Inagi City Medical Plan.'
