Inagi City Carbon Neutral Promotion Plan

In order to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, the city has established new initiatives for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and introducing renewable energy, based on national policies and the "Inagi City Carbon Neutral Declaration." To promote decarbonization measures in collaboration with citizens and Business Operators, the "Inagi City Carbon Neutral Promotion Plan" has been formulated.

Positioning of the Plan

In March 2023, the "Third Basic Environmental Plan of Inagi City" was formulated, incorporating the "Local Government Action Plan for Global Warming Countermeasures (Area Policy Edition)" based on Article 21 of the Act on Promotion of Global Warming Countermeasures, as well as the "Regional Climate Change Adaptation Plan" based on Article 12 of the Climate Change Adaptation Act, thereby advancing measures against global warming.
This plan compiles the necessary measures and targets related to the "Local Government Action Plan for Global Warming Countermeasures (Area Policy Edition)" within the Third Basic Environmental Plan of Inagi City.
