The city has formulated the "Third Inagi City Employee Eco-Action Plan" to address global warming as a Business Operator.

Background of Formulation

As a part of the City Administration and also as a Business Operator within Inagi City, it is necessary to address global warming. Therefore, in July 2003, we formulated the "(First) Inagi City Employee Eco-Action Plan," which combines the "Global Warming Countermeasure Promotion Implementation Plan" and the "Inagi City Employee Initiative Action Plan" for countermeasures. Based on this plan, we have been working on measures against global warming.
Since then, due to the end of the first planning period and changes in social conditions, we have developed the "Second Eco Action Plan for Inagi City Employees" and have been working on measures against global warming. However, ten years have passed since the second formulation, and various domestic and international movements, including the enactment of laws, have been observed. With the rising awareness of the crisis facing the global environment and significant changes in the surrounding social environment, the government made the "2050 Carbon Neutral Declaration" in 2020, and efforts toward a decarbonized society are rapidly advancing. In our city, we recognize the issue of global warming as a problem for each of us, and it is necessary to work towards achieving carbon neutrality. Therefore, in February 2023, we made the "Inagi City Carbon Neutral Declaration."
In this context, a 10-year planning period from Fiscal Year 2023 to Fiscal Year 2034 will be established for the "Third Eco Action Plan for Inagi City Employees," and we will continue to promote proactive actions by our employees.

Duration of the Plan

From Fiscal Year 2023 to Fiscal Year 2034, a period of 10 years
