Inagi City Power Line Undergrounding Promotion Plan

Purpose of the Plan

This plan aims to promote the undergrounding of utility poles by outlining the basic concepts regarding the promotion of undergrounding in Inagi City, taking into account the trends in undergrounding at the national and Tokyo metropolitan levels, as well as clarifying the routes that will be prioritized for undergrounding, thereby promoting the undergrounding of utility poles on city roads in a comprehensive and planned manner.
In addition, in order to advance Community Development in line with the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) proposed by the United Nations, we aim to promote "inclusive and sustainable urbanization" and strengthen resilience against natural disasters. We will effectively and efficiently promote the removal of utility poles while building a smooth consultation and cooperation system with relevant Business Operators, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and local residents along the roads.
