Promote Inagi City domestically and internationally with amateur radio!

The "Inagi Amateur Radio Club," formed from the "Inagi City Amateur Radio Disaster Information Cooperation Association," operated the amateur radio station "8N1ING" commemorating the 50th anniversary of Inagi City's establishment from October 1, 2021, to January 31, 2022, for four months. Through operations within the city as well as at Mt. Fuji and Mihara-yama on Izu Oshima, information about "Inagi" was transmitted to amateur radio stations both domestically and internationally, helping to promote Inagi City.
We made 6,652 contacts with amateur radio stations within Inagi City, neighboring areas, and nationwide, and 674 contacts with 50 countries overseas (Asia, North America, Europe, South America, Africa), totaling 7,326 contacts, and issued approximately 6,780 commemorative QSL cards as contact certificates.
