The 50th Anniversary Ceremony of the Inagi City System Implementation was held

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the city system implementation on November 1, 2021, a commemorative ceremony was held at the Central Cultural Center Hall on November 6, 2021.

In the first part, guests including the Vice Governor of Tokyo, the Chairman of the Tokyo Mayors Association, the Chairman of the Tokyo City Council Chairpersons Association, the Mayor of Ozora Town, Hokkaido (Sister City), the Mayor of Nozawaonsen Village, Nagano Prefecture (Friendship City), members of the House of Representatives, members of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly, and the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Inagi City Council were invited to the stage, with the mayors of Tama City in Tokyo's Tama area and other invitees in attendance.
At the ceremony, a "50th Anniversary Commemorative Video" produced by staff was screened, and the "Inagi City Song" was performed through a choral video by the Music Ensemble Club of Inagi City Public Schools Inagi Dai 3 Junior High School.

In the second part, the Sister City Mayor of Ozora Town, Hokkaido, the Friendship City Mayor of Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, the Friendship City Mayor of Nozawa Onsen Village, Nagano Prefecture, the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Inagi City Council and Chairpersons of each committee, the Chairperson of the Election Administration Commission, the Chairperson of the Agricultural Committee, and the Chairperson of the Commendation Review Committee were invited to the stage. The certificate of appreciation presentation ceremony was held with the attendance of the 50th anniversary certificate recipients and other guests.
At the Appreciation Ceremony, the 50th Anniversary Commemorative Appreciation Award was presented, a representative of the award recipients gave a speech, greetings were delivered by the mayors and village heads of Sister Cities and Friendship Cities, a message video from Foster City, a Sister City, was screened, a 50th Anniversary commemorative video was shown, a video of the Inagi City song choir was screened, and as a commemorative performance, the Inagi Philharmonic Orchestra and members of iMUSICA performed.
