Students × Companies × Minami-Tama Station 5 Cities Collaborate! The "Tamarhythm Project" is starting!
Tamari-zumu Project for Fiscal Year 7, Launched!
The "Tama Rhythm Contest" was conducted as a wide-area collaboration project among the five cities of Minami-Tama from fiscal year 2021 to fiscal year 2024. Students planned community development projects for local tourism, aiming to build businesses in collaboration with business operators. Additionally, attractive projects were awarded by experts in tourism community development.
Starting from the 7th year of Reiwa, we will launch the "Tamarhythm Project," incorporating advice from experts such as small and medium enterprise consultants, to enhance the collaboration between students and Community Development. The project will focus on themes such as "Tourism Community Development in Each City" and "Wide Area Tourism Community Development," aiming to connect with the promotional activities of each city. We are looking for students with flexible ideas who are interested in this project, which has the potential to elevate their proposed plans into tourism promotion projects for the five cities of Minami-Tama through practical experiments in each city.

Tamarizumu Contest until Fiscal Year 2024

This project targets teams composed of university students who will lead the next generation, soliciting ideas for tourism community development based on the challenges faced by cities with suburban residential areas. Over the course of one year, the project aims to build initiatives in collaboration with local governments, affiliated organizations, and local business operators, with the goal of social implementation in the following fiscal year. The proposals will be awarded in a contest format, and over four years, a total of 96 teams and 508 students have participated. At the final review meeting, "Draft Conference," held at the end of the one-year effort, 526 participants, including government officials and private sector representatives, attended to view the proposals and vote on negotiation rights. There are also cases where students obtained negotiation rights and co-developed products. For more details, please visit the official Tamarizumu website.
