From spring to autumn, bee activity becomes more active. Please be careful as paper wasps and hornets may build nests under the eaves of your house or on the branches of garden trees.
City Hall conducts wasp nest removal for Public Facilities. For private property, we ask the owners to take action.
Furthermore, regarding hornets, due to their high aggression and danger, it is recommended to outsource to extermination professionals.

Bee Nest Removal Q&A

We have compiled frequently asked questions regarding wasp nest removal in a Q&A format. Please refer to it.

Let's refrain from unnecessary extermination

Bees are living creatures with a life of their own. They also have the aspect of being beneficial insects that eat flies, spiders, and caterpillars, which is helpful for humans. In most cases, bees attack due to their defensive instincts.
Particularly, species like the paper wasp are gentle, and it is rare for them to attack unless their nest is disturbed or they are swatted away with a hand.
If a nest is built in a place where there is no human activity and poses no hindrance or danger to daily life, let's refrain from indiscriminately removing the nest.
