Around October 9, 2024, monkeys were spotted in Chofu City and Fuchu City, so please be very careful when you see monkeys nearby.

If you see a monkey

• Do not approach monkeys
• Avoid eye contact
• Do not feed, do not show food
• Do not raise your voice (do not stimulate or excite the monkeys)
• If you witness something from home, secure your doors and be careful to prevent anyone from entering your house.
