Purpose of LED Implementation in Public Facilities within Inagi City

In Inagi City, the lighting in Public Facilities has been upgraded to LED lighting with the aim of promoting carbon neutrality and reducing electricity consumption.

LED lighting consumes less power compared to traditional fluorescent lamps and can reduce electricity usage while maintaining equivalent brightness.

Effects of LED Implementation

Generally, when replacing fluorescent lamps with LED lighting, power consumption can be reduced by approximately 40% to 60%, and since LED lights have a longer lifespan, this also leads to reduced maintenance burdens due to fewer replacements.

In our city as well, we are promoting the reduction of electricity consumption and greenhouse gas emissions through the LED conversion of Public Facilities.

Note: Depending on the type of lighting fixture, the reduction effect may exceed 60%.

Features of LED Conversion

In Inagi City, to reflect the voices of users, we conducted on-site surveys for each facility and carefully selected lighting fixtures to create more comfortable spaces.

Please see the leaflet below for notable initiatives and facilities.

LED Projects and Environmental Learning

In Inagi City, we hope that various people will utilize environmental learning through the LED conversion projects.

We have created materials for learning about the relationship between carbon neutrality and LEDs, so please make use of them.
