Presentation of identification such as an ID card is required to inspect the Fixed Asset Inspection Ledger and to view the Tax Ledger.
・ For fixed assets you own: Identification (driver’s license, My Number Card, etc.)
・ In the case of a proxy: Identification (driver's license, My Number Card, etc.) and a letter of proxy or a tax payment notice

Note: Please be aware that the name aggregation ledger cannot be accepted as a substitute document for a letter of proxy or similar documents.

About Public Inspection

The public inspection system provides taxpayers with a ledger of land and building prices, which includes the property tax assessment values of other lands and buildings (without tax amounts), as a resource for determining whether the property tax assessment value of their owned land and buildings is appropriate.

The viewing period for FY2026 is from Wednesday, April 1, 2026 to Monday, June 1, 2026

House Price Inspection Ledger Location, House Number, Type, Structure, Floor Area, Price Taxpayers of Property Tax related to houses located in Inagi City
  • If you are coming to the counter, please bring an identification document (driver's license, My Number Card, etc.).
  • If you have been delegated, please bring a letter of attorney or the tax payment notice together.
  • The items recorded in the ledger refer to the matters stipulated by the Local Tax Act, including registered items in the registry (for land, this includes the location number, land category, land area; for buildings, this includes the location number, building number, type, structure, floor area), price (assessed value), and taxable standard amount.

Copies and photographs of the inspection ledger cannot be made. However, handwritten transcriptions are allowed.

About Viewing

The viewing of the taxation ledger is a system for property owners of land, buildings, and depreciable assets to specifically confirm the taxation details regarding their assets. In Inagi City, a consolidated ledger summarizing the contents of the taxation ledger for each taxpayer is made available for viewing.

  • If you are coming to the counter, please bring an identification document (driver's license, My Number Card, etc.).
  • If you are a representative, please bring a power of attorney or tax notification along with you.
  • The items recorded in the ledger refer to the matters stipulated by the Local Tax Act, including registered items in the registry (for land, this includes the location number, land category, land area; for buildings, this includes the location number, building number, type, structure, floor area), price (assessed value), and taxable standard amount.

Viewing Fee

300 yen per taxpayer.
However, viewing the FY2024 tax ledger during the public inspection period (from April 1 to June 1) is free of charge. (Viewing previous years' records during the inspection period will incur a fee.)
