About Standardization of Local Government Information Systems

Standardization of local government information systems refers to the initiative, based on the "Act on Standardization of Local Government Information Systems," to transition core business systems responsible for resident services in local governments to systems compliant with national standard specifications (standard-compliant systems). This initiative is being implemented sequentially across local governments nationwide.
With the transition to a tax system compliant with the standard specifications, the layouts of notification letters and forms, which were previously independently determined by each local government, will be unified into layouts based on the standard specifications.
For details about this initiative, please refer to the following page.
