Online Application for Tax Payment Certificate
If you have a My Number Card (equipped with a valid electronic signature certificate), you can apply for the issuance of a tax payment certificate online.
Please apply using the following form.
Note: If you are applying for the first time, please read the "Necessary Things and Items" and "Important Notes" below, and confirm whether you can apply.

(Municipal Resident Tax, Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax, Property Tax, City Planning Tax, Light Motor Vehicle Tax (Type Division), National Health Insurance Tax)
Note: The light vehicle tax (type classification) can also apply for a tax payment certificate for vehicle inspection.
Note: Online applications are not available for taxes related to businesses. - Fee
- Issuance fee... 400 yen (for one tax item and one fiscal year)
Postage... 110 yen (subject to change due to weight overage)
Note: There is no issuance fee for the light vehicle tax (for vehicle inspection). - Payment Method

Notes
- "Tax Payment Certificate" and "Taxation (Non-Taxation) Certificate" application errors, please be careful.
- After you enter and submit the application information, the Revenue Division will review the content and send the examination results and fee information via email. Once you confirm the content and complete the payment, the certificate will be shipped 2 to 3 days later. The shipment cannot be made until the payment is completed, so please be careful not to miss the confirmation of the examination results and fee information email.
- If there are any unclear points regarding the application, we may contact you by phone or email. If we are unable to reach you, we may cancel your application.
Application Method
1. First, install the dedicated app (Electronic Authentication My Number Sign) on your smartphone.
2. Access the online application form and register your email address.
3. A login URL will be sent to the registered email address.
4. Log in to the application form again from the URL and enter the required information.
5. After confirming the input details, you will perform an electronic signature. Use a dedicated app on your smartphone to read the My Number Card and press the application button. (The application acceptance email contains the password for payment.)
6. After the application, the Collection Division will review the content and send the examination results and fee information via email.
7. Log in to the payment screen from the URL in the examination result and fee notification email, and enter the password issued at the time of application.
8. Select a payment method (credit card, PayPay) and make the payment.
After the payment confirmation by the Revenue Division, the certificate will be sent out 2 to 3 days later.
Note: If the payment is not completed within 7 days after the notification of the examination results and fee information is sent, the application will be canceled, and you will need to reapply.

Online applications do not qualify for fee exemptions (due to reasons such as receiving Public Assistance).
