Regarding the handling of interim advance payments in the construction contracts ordered by Inagi City, we operate in accordance with the handling methods for advance payments, but we would like to inform you that the following changes have been made.
This amendment will be applied from April 1, 2018.

Payment Requirements for Interim Advance Payment

Payments for interim payments will be made when the following requirements are met.
Certification of whether the requirements are met will be conducted through a request for certification invoice submitted to the city.

Certification Requirements

  1. Half of the construction period has elapsed.
  2. The work related to the construction, which is to be carried out by the time half of the construction period has elapsed according to the schedule.
  3. The expenses required for the work related to the completed construction are equivalent to more than half of the contract amount.

Payment Timing for Interim Advance Payment

Payments made as partial payments before the interim payment will be considered not eligible for interim payment.
In addition, for contracts spanning multiple years, payments will generally be made in the year following the contract year.

Cancellation of Guarantee Contract

If the guarantee contract is canceled, it is necessary to return the already paid interim advance payment to the city.
In addition, upon return, we will collect delayed interest corresponding to the number of days from the date the interim advance payment was made to the date of return.
