School Characteristics

This school has a history and tradition of over 130 years, with cherry trees that are over 50 years old standing closely together on the school grounds, making it a famous cherry blossom spot in our city. The PTA and the community have a deep collaboration, and it is a place where people generously contribute their efforts to create a school environment with forests, ponds, and flower beds.
The most significant feature of our educational activities is the rice cultivation learning program in the rice fields, which has been ongoing for over 30 years. It involves a lot of interaction with people, enriching the content of the activities, and continues to progress as a "School in the Rice Fields."
