School Characteristics
This is Inagi Dai 7 Elementary School, located in a quiet environment blessed with lush nature, overlooking the Tamagawa hills rich in history, such as Jomon dwelling sites and Kamakura period ruins, and surrounded by pear orchards in full bloom.
Tenjin Mountain, pear cultivation, Misawa River, and Benten Street shopping district are actively being used as teaching materials in the community.
Through pear cultivation experiences and flowerbed creation along the walking path behind the school, we are fostering a love for our hometown and school spirit while deepening interactions with local people.
We are actively engaged in inter-grade exchange activities, starting with the mixed-age groups, aiming to enhance the ability to connect with others and foster a spirit of compassion.
This year, continuing from last year, the entire school is working on nurturing children who develop both their minds and bodies.
