Professor Lecture "Learning from Earthquakes: Community Risks, Public Assistance, Mutual Aid, and Self-Help"

In our country, where earthquakes frequently occur, the importance of disaster prevention measures is strongly recognized. Disasters are greatly influenced by regional characteristics. We clearly explain the key points of disaster prevention measures in Tokyo, including the characteristics of earthquakes, expected earthquake disasters, and the sharing of disaster prevention information. We consider why cities are vulnerable to disasters, how we confront disasters, how to protect cultural properties from disasters, and examine disasters around the world.
