High-Cost Medical and High-Cost Nursing Care Combined System

If there is a recipient of Long-Term Care Insurance in a household with high Medical Expenses, after applying the limits of the National Health Insurance and Long-Term Care Insurance respectively, if the total out-of-pocket expenses for the year (from August to the following July) exceed the limit below (only if the amount exceeding the limit is more than 500 yen), you can apply, and if approved, the excess amount will be provided.
Every year, we send notifications and Application Forms to households that may be eligible.
Note: Those who joined the National Health Insurance of Inagi City from another health insurance during the eligible period may not receive an Application Form.

• If you are under 70 years old, the amount that exceeds 21,000 yen paid out of pocket at a single medical institution (hospitalization and outpatient care are calculated separately) within the same month will be considered for calculation.
• The income classification will be applied as of the reference date (July 31 of each year).
