Individual Access to School Sports Facilities

To enjoy sports and recreation close to home, we open the elementary school gymnasium for individual use on Saturday nights.
Please feel free to come by.
This program is intended for individual use, so we kindly ask that groups refrain from using it. Therefore, even if you come on the day, we may have to decline your participation.

Overview

Implementation Period

First half: May to July
Second half: September to November
This will be held on the second and fourth Saturdays. If it overlaps with the school schedule, there will be no rescheduling to the following week.

Time

From 7 PM to 9 PM

Eligibility

Residents, workers, and students in the city
(Those under 16 years old must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian or an adult. Additionally, the accompanying adult is requested to be careful to avoid injuries or troubles.)

Note: In recent years, there have been reports of accompanying individuals becoming engrossed in sports, while small children run around, knock over school property, and attempt to enter areas not permitted for use. Please ensure that accompanying individuals are also able to use the facilities safely when your children are using them.

How to Use

Please go directly to the elementary school gymnasium.

・Gym shoes (Please refrain from participating without gym shoes or barefoot)

・Basketball (Elementary School 4, Elementary School 6)

Implemented Sports (Achievements)

Badminton, table tennis, basketball, etc.
However, depending on the congestion situation on the day, it may not be possible to participate in the desired events, and the instructors may have to decline your request.

• Note: Events may be canceled due to sudden construction or other reasons.
• Note: Events may be canceled due to typhoons or other reasons. Additionally, there may be cases where a decision to cancel on the day is made due to sudden bad weather. In such cases, we will post notifications here. However, please understand that it may be difficult to provide prior notice in cases where sudden bad weather affects the event.

The House of Councillors election is scheduled to be held.

The House of Councillors election is scheduled to be held on July 20, 2025 (Sunday) or July 27, 2025 (Sunday).

For this reason, at the election venues, Inagi Dai 4 Elementary School and Wakabadai Elementary School, there is a possibility that preparations for the election will take place on the day before the election (Saturday). In that case, individual access will be suspended.

Therefore, please understand that the event on July 26 (Saturday) may be canceled depending on the schedule of the House of Councillors election.

We will update once the date and time are decided.

Notice for Individual Users of School Gymnasium

1. Let's be considerate and share with each other when using.
2. Entry is prohibited except for open areas (gymnasium).
3. No smoking inside the gymnasium and on school grounds, eating is prohibited.
4. The use of school equipment is prohibited except for lending purposes.
5. Report any damage to equipment or tools to the instructor.
6. Please adhere to the usage time (from 7 PM to 9 PM).
7. Anyone who is a citizen can use it, but those under 16 years old need to be accompanied by an adult. An accompanying person is required during the usage time.
8. Users and their companions are responsible for safety management. In case of injuries during open hours, the instructors will not be held responsible.
9. Prohibition of dangerous acts and acts that cause inconvenience to others.
10. Please follow the instructions of the instructor.
11. Some schools are located in areas surrounded by residential neighborhoods, so please be considerate of the local residents.
