Feasibility Study for the Introduction of a New Public Transportation System in Inagi City - Implementation of an Open Call Proposal
Feasibility Study on the Introduction of a New Public Transportation System in Inagi City
Purpose of Proposal Implementation
In our city, the Inagi Minamiyama East Land Readjustment Project is underway as part of urban infrastructure development in the southeastern part of the city. Some facilities of the "TOKYO GIANTS TOWN" concept within the project area will open in March of the 7th year of Reiwa. As part of the junction improvement project, renovations of the plaza in front of the south exit of Inagi Station and detailed design of the plaza in front of the south exit of Keio Yomiuriland Station are being advanced. Additionally, access to the (tentative name) Negatani Park and TOKYO GIANTS TOWN is being coordinated with relevant parties in conjunction with the completion of urban planning roads.
This project aims to examine the feasibility of introducing a new transportation system connecting the new infrastructure development areas, including Keio Yomiuriland Station, Inagi Station, (tentative name) Negatani Park, and TOKYO GIANTS TOWN, based on these backgrounds. It will include route considerations, anticipated demand, system considerations tailored to the area's characteristics, project costs, and profitability assessments. Proposals will be solicited from private business operators with abundant technology and skills to select the operator that will bring the best results for our city, and this proposal will be implemented for that purpose.
