About Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Catch-up Vaccination
The catch-up vaccination period is from "April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2025." Considering the significant increase in demand after the summer of 2024 and the situation regarding limited shipments, those who have received at least one vaccination during the catch-up vaccination period (from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2025) will be able to receive the remaining vaccinations at public expense for one year after the period ends (during Fiscal Year 2025).
Eligible Individuals
・Women born between April 2, 1997, and April 1, 2008 (target group for catch-up vaccination) who received at least one dose of the HPV vaccine between April 1, 2022, and March 31, 2025.
・Women born between April 2, 2008, and April 1, 2009 (equivalent to first-year high school students in fiscal year 2024) who received at least one dose of the HPV vaccine between April 1, 2022, and March 31, 2025.
Note: Those who have already completed their vaccinations are not eligible.
Note: Those who will receive the vaccination for the first time after April of the 7th year of Reiwa, and those who have not been vaccinated during the above period, are not eligible.
