Daily walks are essential for dogs to stay healthy. While owners take their dogs for walks according to their lifestyles, recently, dog feces have been frequently found on roads, sidewalks, and in parks.
The city established the "Inagi City Ordinance for Keeping the City Clean" in fiscal year 2000 with the aim of contributing to the securing and maintenance of a safe and comfortable living environment. It prohibits littering and leaving dog waste unattended.
As part of the city's initiatives, when dog feces left on the street are found, we highlight the area by drawing a yellow chalk circle around the feces to make it noticeable and encourage the owners to be more careful through the "Yellow Chalk Operation."

A 'One' Point Before Going for a Walk

  • Please be sure to take your dog’s waste home with you.
When your pet defecates during a walk, it is the owner's responsibility to properly take it home.
  • Please have your pet use the toilet inside the house before going for a walk.
If you happen to urinate on the street or utility poles, please wash it away immediately with water.
