1 14 days Registration for the Senior Employment Center for Hearing Impaired Individuals This is an Older Adult who has received a Physical Disability Certificate (Level 4 Hearing Impairment). Previously, I wanted to work, so I applied by phone to attend an orientation session for the Senior Employment Center, but I was unable to participate due to reasons such as "the work is done in groups." I believe my previous experience can be utilized in tasks like planting, and since I am no different from a healthy person except for my hearing, I think there are jobs I can do if measures are taken.
With the aging population, it is expected that the number of people with hearing disabilities will continue to increase. However, it is said that if people with hearing disabilities begin to avoid contact with others, the likelihood of developing dementia increases. In order to lead a healthy daily life, I hope that pathways for registration at the Senior Employment Center will be opened for people with hearing disabilities.
According to the response from the Senior Employment Center of Inagi City, the following information was provided.
"Previously, in response to inquiries about park cleaning as a job with little danger and no interpersonal interaction, we explained that park cleaning is a group activity and involves the use of machinery such as brush cutters. Therefore, ensuring the safety of cleaning members and park users is important. As a result, considering the safety of the members themselves and the safety of park users, we found it difficult to introduce park cleaning jobs. It seems that you interpreted this as being declined because it would cause inconvenience to others, and we apologize for not providing sufficient explanation."
In addition, it is possible to participate in the orientation meeting with the use of amplifiers and headphones. Furthermore, if approved by the board after the usual orientation and interviews with the directors, it is also possible to join the Senior Employment Center.
On the other hand, regarding jobs after registration, there are positions with minimal interpersonal interaction and limited auditory impact, but currently, the number of such jobs is quite small, and the job content is also limited, so we cannot guarantee that we can introduce you to your desired job. Additionally, even if we are ultimately unable to introduce a job, annual membership fees and insurance premiums will still be required.
We would appreciate it if you could consider participating in the briefing session after understanding the above.
The city will continue to support the employment of Older Adults through the Senior Employment Center, so we appreciate your consideration regarding participation in the information session and other related matters.

2 14 days About Cochlear Implant Assistance I am currently receiving assistance for my hearing aid, but my hearing is gradually declining, and I am also considering cochlear implant surgery. I would like you to consider assistance in this case as well. There is a subsidy for cochlear implant surgery under the Independent Living Medical (Rehabilitation Medical) system. This system is aimed at individuals who hold a Physical Disability Certificate for hearing impairment, and who are expected to have their symptoms alleviated or eliminated through surgery, thereby restoring their daily living capabilities. To utilize this system, it is necessary to apply in advance at City Hall and receive a medical assessment from Tokyo Metropolitan Government. There are several conditions for the application, so if you wish to apply, please contact the Disability Welfare Division. Disability Welfare Division Disability Welfare Section

1 11 days About Smokers Near the Tamagawa River This morning, there were construction workers smoking near the entrance of Tamagawaharabashi (Yanokuchi Station side). Please take appropriate action, such as giving a warning.
Additionally, we ask for measures against smoking for users of the Tamagawa River. Smoking while walking or riding a bicycle can ruin the pleasant environment of the Tamagawa River. We request measures such as smoking etiquette instructors and the establishment of fines.
Upon checking the site conditions, it was confirmed that repair work on the Tamagawahara Bridge is being carried out by Tokyo Metropolitan Government. We received a response from the "Chofu Construction Division of the Tokyo Metropolitan North Tama South Construction Office," which stated, "We have instructed not only the main contractor's employees but also the subcontracted workers, including guides, to reinforce the adherence to site rules and to strive for the prevention of recurrence."
In the fiscal year 2018, the city established the "Ordinance on Restrictions on Smoking in Public Places in Inagi City" and restricts smoking while walking and smoking in situations where there are people nearby throughout the city. Additionally, areas such as roads and parks within a 30-meter radius of the six stations in the city where many people gather are designated as no-smoking zones. We will continue to promote a safe and comfortable environment through patrols by instructors who provide guidance on smoking.

About i Plaza Hall

When using the i Plaza Hall, the time required to set up the essential sound reflection panels for a classical concert is included in the usage time. It takes about an hour to install and remove the sound reflection panels, during which time the stage and audience seating must be vacated and cannot be used. Considering the time for audience entry and exit, there is effectively only about two hours available for use, which is a significant drawback that may require cutting content from the concert. In neighboring cities, there are considerations that allow for full usage time with the sound reflection panels already installed.
In addition, the lighting, sound, and recording are all the responsibility of the organizer, and if necessary, they must arrange for stage contractors at their own expense. However, it is impossible to have a classical concert without contractors, so I always arrange it myself. That said, the usage fees are not cheaper than those of neighboring cities.
Additionally, cancellations are not allowed at all, and once payment is made, there is no refund for the usage fee. This is the only place among the more than 10 nearby halls I have used.
I would like you to review various operations by referring to neighboring cities.
The installation of equipment and facilities is carried out during the usage hours, similar to other facilities within the city. Additionally, it is currently difficult to accommodate the placement of specialized technicians for lighting and sound under the existing usage fees and contracts. Moving forward, we will investigate similar rental purposes and facility conditions, and we will research considerations that can be addressed by the designated manager based on the contract.
Regarding cancellations, we provide rescheduling or refunds in cases where the facility cannot be rented due to external factors such as facility issues or disasters. However, in cases due to the organizer's circumstances, we do not offer refunds in order to suppress unnecessary cancellations and ensure broad opportunities for use. As for the hall business as a hosted project, the usage fees are not the primary source of funding, but managing and operating the facilities, including the relevant hall, incurs significant costs. The city requests users to pay a fair usage fee as a beneficiary burden from the perspective of sustainable municipal management, so we appreciate your understanding.
