1 17 days Request for Support for HPV Vaccination for Boys

I would like to request support for the vaccination of boys with the HPV vaccine.

Regarding the vaccination of the HPV vaccine (quadrivalent) for males, it received national pharmaceutical approval in 2020, and we are aware of its effectiveness and other aspects. Towards regular vaccination, discussions began in August 2022 at the Subcommittee on Vaccination and Vaccines of the Health Science Council of the national government. By March 2024, while the effectiveness and safety of making the HPV vaccine (quadrivalent) a regular vaccination based on three doses were confirmed to a certain extent, there are challenges regarding cost-effectiveness, and discussions are ongoing.
At this time, the administration of the HPV vaccine to males is not included in the regular vaccinations specified by the Vaccination Law and is positioned as a voluntary vaccination. Therefore, the city does not currently plan to provide financial assistance for vaccination costs, but we will continue to monitor the trends of the national government and other cities.

About the Transportation Infrastructure of Inagi City

There are few bus routes connecting the Nambu Line and the Keio Sagamihara Line, which is problematic. Additionally, access to the Keio Main Line is poor. There are also only one or two airport buses per day, making it inconvenient.

Regarding your inquiry about the "transportation infrastructure in Inagi City," due to low demand for route buses, Inagi City operates the community bus i-bus as a supplementary means in areas where there are no route bus services.
As for the desired route bus connecting the Nambu Line and the Keio Sagamihara Line (Inagi Station), as you pointed out, there is a route bus that operates once a week, starting and ending at Chofu Station South Exit and Kakioka Station North Exit, passing near "Inagi City Health Center" and "Yanokuchi Station". The city has been requesting the bus operators to increase the number of services on this route, including passing through Inagi Station, but unfortunately, so far, the bus operators have not realized this due to low demand.
Therefore, the i-bus circulates routes A and B, connecting Inagi Station and Yanokuchi Station in about 15 minutes, operating 12 services on weekdays for each course. Additionally, there are round-trip routes D and E, connecting Inagi Station and Inagi-Naganuma Station in about 12 minutes, operating 3 services per day for each course. We hope you will consider using the i-bus routes.
Regarding the airport bus, the bus operators have informed us that due to the spread of new lifestyles after the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for the airport has not yet recovered to its previous scale. Therefore, at this time, there are some routes that pass through Wakabadai Station and Inagi Station that are suspended, and we have been told that the number of services has not returned to the levels before the pandemic.
As a city, we will continue to make requests regarding the needs presented this time at the "Inagi City Regional Public Transport Council," which is composed of representatives from each Neighborhood Association, citizen groups, bus operators, and the police, and serves as a statutory council under the Road Transport Law to discuss matters necessary for realizing transportation services that reflect the local situation.

1 5 days About the Facilities at Inagi Station

Inagi Station is a major station, but there are no commercial facilities such as station buildings or shopping centers, so I hope the quality around the station will be improved.
Also, since there is no nursing room in the station building, I would like a nursing room and a diaper changing area to be provided.

As a city, we are working to promote community development and invigorate the local economy by establishing a subsidy system for business operators who open restaurants in the city, encouraging them to set up shop, so that residents can feel comfortable living here.
Regarding the establishment of commercial facilities around Inagi Station, which we have received opinions on this time, please understand that the decision will be made based on the management judgment of the private companies that will become the operators, taking into account the status of nearby commercial facilities.
In addition, we have communicated our request regarding the establishment of a nursing room to Keio Real Estate Co., Ltd., which manages Keio Litnado Inagi.

2 5 days About the Effective Use of the Comprehensive Gymnasium When my daughter tried to use the Comprehensive Gymnasium for individual practice, I was told that despite no one using the recreation room, it is limited to table tennis and practice for other sports is not allowed. Is it necessary to limit the use to table tennis? The children of Inagi City are working hard on various sports. Could you please provide a space for individual practice for a variety of sports?
I also think it's a waste of electricity to leave the lights and air conditioning on in rooms that are not being used. Isn't there a way to operate more efficiently?
The arenas of the "Sougo Taiikukan" are primarily operated for group use, and the designated manager determines the days and sports for individual use based on the facility's condition and usage status. Additionally, if there are no group reservations made by 5 PM the day before, the facilities are opened for individual use.
In the future, we will share the proposals we have received with the designated administrator and consider ways to improve facility management to make it easier for citizens to use, such as reviewing individual sports events and methods of implementation to expand usage and enhance convenience.

3 10 days Recruitment of Participants for the Giants Town Preview Event There was a recruitment for a tour of the Giants Town Stadium in the Inagi Newsletter, but the application form was available only via a QR code. I would like to know what to do if someone cannot use the QR code. Regarding your inquiry about the "Recruitment of Participants for the Giants Town Preview Event," this is an event organized by the Yomiuri Giants, and the application method is determined by the Yomiuri Giants.
For this project application, you can apply directly through the application form on the Yomiuri Giants website without using a QR code. If you have any questions, please contact the Yomiuri Giants directly at the contact information listed in the city's public relations.
For applications for city-sponsored projects, we have set up different methods for each project, such as applying through the website or by phone.

4 12 days Report of Suspicious Persons Regarding the notification of suspicious persons, I would like you to contact me even if you list them. Regarding your request to be informed when a suspect is apprehended, we are unable to provide such notifications as we do not have the capability to individually track information about suspect apprehensions, except during press releases for serious incidents such as murder or special fraud.
In addition, the city has requested an increase in patrols during incidents and is working with the Tama City Central Police Station to focus patrols in areas with high crime rates.
We will continue to cooperate with the police to ensure the safety of all citizens.
