Also, I hope efforts will be made to lower prices by negotiating prices for the same uniform across all schools in the city or by having multiple vendors compete. | The standard uniforms and school supplies for Inagi City Junior High Schools are determined by each school, and the selection and review are also carried out according to the circumstances of each school. The Board of Education instructs that when selecting teaching materials and school supplies for public schools, sufficient consideration should be given to the economic burden on parents or guardians, based on the regulations concerning the management and operation of Inagi City Public Schools. Additionally, when reviewing standard uniforms for junior high schools, it is instructed to consult with students, parents or guardians, and the School Management Council, and to proceed based on their opinions. Regarding the measurement times for standard uniforms at each school, there were some busy periods in Fiscal Year 2022, and some schools extended their hours while others could not complete the measurements even with extended hours. It was reported that the vendor would visit each household at a later date or handle it at a nearby agency. The Board of Education has instructed that appropriate measures be taken based on coordination between the schools and the vendors for the measurement of standard uniforms. In addition, the Board of Education implements a school assistance system such as "school supplies and commuting expenses" and "new enrollment school supplies expenses" as measures to support the lives of parenting households. By the morning of the reserved collection date, please affix the "oversized garbage processing ticket". For single-family homes, please place it in front of your house, and for apartment buildings, please dispose of it at the designated garbage collection point. In such cases, we provide assistance in transporting bulky waste for households consisting only of older adults aged 65 and over, or for households consisting only of individuals with physical disabilities of level 4 or higher, who find it difficult to dispose of bulky waste at the designated disposal locations. When using this service, it is necessary to confirm whether the individual is the subject or not. When contacted by the individual, their family, home helper, or legal guardian, we will always obtain their understanding that personal information will be inquired. Due to the purpose of personal information protection, this matter will be handled with caution, and we appreciate your understanding. In this case, although it was possible for the individual to make a phone call, if the individual is unable to make a call due to physical circumstances, it is possible to apply for the moving-out service through a representative, provided that the representative brings the power of attorney received from the individual at the counter. Two procedures are required to use the bulky waste collection service.

The "resolution" you requested serves as a means for the city council to express and display its will as a decision-making body regarding certain issues, regardless of the existence of legal grounds. Therefore, even if it is approved, no documents will be sent to related organizations. On the other hand, an "Opinion Statement" is a document that summarizes the will of the council as an opinion. According to Article 99 of the Local Autonomy Act, "The council of a regular local public entity may submit an opinion statement regarding matters of public interest of that regular local public entity to the National Diet or relevant administrative agencies." If approved, the document will be sent to the relevant administrative agency in the name of the chairperson. When submitting an Opinion Statement or requesting a resolution to the City Council, we ask that you submit it to the City Council's office as a Submission (or petition). After the Submission (or petition) is submitted, the process will involve forming a consensus among the council members, after which the City Council will reach a conclusion. Please note that submissions are accepted at each Regular Session, and the next one will be the first Regular Session of the 6th year of Reiwa, with a submission deadline of February 19th at 5 PM.
