As of November 25, 2015, a warning regarding three Business Operators soliciting the purchase of the Uzbek currency, som (hereinafter referred to as "som"), has been issued (hereinafter referred to as "previous warning").
Recently, there was information that a business operator (hereinafter referred to as "Fake BlackRock") is using solicitation materials that closely resemble those used in the previous alert, claiming to be BlackRock Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Genuine BlackRock"), a real asset management company.
The Consumer Affairs Agency has provided information based on the provisions of Article 38, Paragraph 1 of the Consumer Safety Act (Act No. 50 of 2009), regarding actions that may unjustly harm consumer interests in transactions with fake BlackRock (such as providing false information). To prevent the occurrence or expansion of consumer damage, we are informing all consumers.
