QuestionWhat is a basic pension number?

Response

The identification numbers assigned to subscribers of the National Pension, Employees' Pension, and Mutual Aid Pension have been integrated as the Basic Pension Number since January 1997.
Since October 2015, the employee pension system has been unified, and the mutual aid pension has been integrated into the welfare pension.
As a result, even if the enrollment system changes, the number can still be used without any changes.
This basic pension number records the pension enrollment status throughout all periods of public pension, allowing for faster and more reliable pension consultations and pension determinations.
