The National Pension system is managed and operated by the government, providing pensions to individuals or their families in the event of old age, severe disability, or death.
The insurance premiums paid by the working generation support the benefits for the receiving generation.
Subscriber
All residents in Japan aged between 20 and 60 are required to enroll.
Depending on the occupation, there are three types of insured persons: Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3, each with different enrollment procedures and methods for paying insurance premiums.
