QuestionI want to withdraw from the national health insurance because I have joined my workplace's health insurance, but I cannot take time off work. What should I do?

Response

Even if you are not the person in question, someone from the same household can complete the procedure.
You can also complete procedures on the twice-monthly weekend office days (the 2nd Sunday and the 4th Saturday), so please make use of those as well.
If a person from a different household comes to complete the procedure, a power of attorney and identification documents of the agent are required.
Please contact us if you wish to complete the procedure by mail.

Items Required for Procedures

  • Social Insurance Insured Person Certificate (Copy Allowed)
  • National Health Insurance Insured Person Certificate (Original)
  • Identification documents for those coming to complete procedures (driver's license, passport, My Number Card, etc.)
