QuestionI was previously enrolled in the National Health Insurance, but I have joined my workplace's health insurance. Will my eligibility for National Health Insurance be automatically terminated?

Your eligibility will not be automatically terminated, so you must complete the procedure for loss of eligibility for National Health Insurance at City Hall or the Branch Office (Hirao, Wakabadai) within 14 days after obtaining eligibility for social insurance.

Items Required for Procedures

  • Any one of the following: Social Insurance Eligibility Certificate, Notice of Eligibility Information (copy acceptable), or a printed screen of eligibility information confirmation from the Mynaportal
  • National Health Insurance Eligibility Certificate
  • Identification documents (driver's license, passport, My Number Card, etc.)
