The National Health Insurance Tax is calculated by summing the basic taxable amount (medical portion), the Late-Stage Elderly Medical Care support contribution taxable amount (support portion), the child and parenting support contribution taxable amount (child portion), and the Long-Term Care Insurance contribution taxable amount (long-term care portion (note)), each of which has a limit on the taxable amount.
